Founded in 2020, Local Stranger.Workshop™ started as a self-discovery living room experiment creating products with no expectations.

The term “Local stranger" highlights the idea that being a stranger is not limited to being in a completely new location but can also occur within one's own familiar surroundings.

This concept IS used IN OUR APPROACH toward celebrating BOTH FAMILIAR AS WELL AS little-known by merging the gap between the two.

Marrying form and function, we draw inspiration from design juxtaposition,
mash-ups, and industrial hardware while practicing slow fashion philosophy.

We put emphasis on the open-source process of product making and design while celebrating craftsmanship and skillset diversity.
